Thank you so much for your participation in ABC Preschool/Pine Japanese Language Afterschool and ABC Niji-no-kai’s Tohoku Earthquake Memorial Charity Concert and Bake/Craft sale. We would like to announce that we raised $5,226 to send to Japan on that event. We will send half of the fund to Ashinaga Ikueikai for establishing “Tohoku Rainbow House”. The other half of it will be used to purchase educational materials for “Takata Child Care Center” located in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate prefecture, Japan.
I would especially like to thank Forest Choir for singing, Maria Watanabe and ABC All Stars Band for your performance, Miss Shoko Yoshida for playing Shamisen and Ms. Yuko Hirama for teaching Tone Chimes to the students.
I would also like to thank North American Food Distributing Inc., Casaba Bakery and Café and Mr. Akinari Nagata, Kasai Hair for their generous donations.
We appreciate ABC preschool and Pine Japanese Language Afterschool Parents, Nijinokai members and ABC Preschool staff who volunteered and donated baked goods, crafts and all your donations to this event.
I hope our thoughts will reach the Tohoku children and make them happy.
Thank you again for the understanding that people have of our goals to support the children affected by the tsunami and earthquake through this event. We will continue to support them in the future.

このたびの、ABCプリスクール/パイン日本語アフタースクール /ＡＢＣ虹の会によります東北大震災被災児支援のための第3回チャリティーコンサートでは、皆様のご支援の下、5,226ドルにものぼる義援金を集めるこ とができましたことを報告いたします。半額を東北レインボーハウス設立のための資金として「あしなが育英会」へさらに半額は岩手県陸前高田市立高田保育所 への教材支援金として使わせていただきます。
今回のコンサートに出演して下さいましたフォレストクワイヤーの皆さま、三 味線奏者の吉田祥子さん、渡辺マリアとＡＢＣオールスターズの皆さま、ト―ンチャイムのご指導をして下さいました平間裕子さん、ならびにご寄付をいただき ましたノースアメリカン株式会社、カッサバベーカリー、カサイヘアーの永田明成様に心より感謝申し上げます。
またこの会を開催するにあたり、ボランティアをしていただきました保護者の皆さま、虹の会のメンバー、ABCプリスクールのスタッフ、ベークグッズならびにクラフト商品やたくさんのご寄付をいただきました皆さまに感謝いたします。
ABC プリスクールとパインアフタースクールの子どもたち、そして私たちの思いが遠く東北の子どもたちに届くことを願ってやみません。私たちは今後も東北の子ど もたちの支援を続けてまいりたいと思っております。どうぞかわりませずご支援のほどよろしくお願い申し上げます。
