2nd Anniversary of the Tohoku Earthquake 3rd Charity Concert and Bake & Craft Sale / 東日本大震災2周年　第3回チャリティーコンサート、ベイクアンドクラフトセール

3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Bake & Craft Sale at ABC Preschool Social Hall (B1F) / ベイク＆クラフトセール

All donations will be donated to Ashinaga scholarship fund and Takata Child Care Center (Rikuzentakata city).
全ての寄付金はすべてあしなが育英会と高田保育所（陸前高田市）におくられます。

一昨年の震災直後より東北の子ども達の支援を続けているＡＢＣプリスクール（乾久美子ディレクター）では震災２周年にあたり、第３回チャリティーコンサートを開催する。当日はABCプリスクール生、姉妹校パイン日本語アフタースクール生、総勢70名による歌や楽器演奏の他、保護者による演奏、フォレストクワイヤーによる合唱などが行われる。またコンサート終了後、「ABC虹の会」によるベーク&クラフトセールが行われる。

これまでの活動の募金総額は$22,000をこえ、収益金はすべて「あしなが育英会」による震災遺児の心のケアのためのレインボーハウス建設資金ならびに岩手県陸前高田市立高田保育所への教材支援金として使われてきた。なおレインボーハウスは今年末オープンを目指し、すでに陸前高田市他、数カ所で着工が進められている。

2012年7月　ABCプリスクール関係者が高田保育所を訪問

Christmas present for Takata Child Care Center 2012 / 高田保育所へのクリスマスプレゼント 2012

ABC Niji-no-kai sent Christmas presents to 100 children of Takata Child Care Center same as last year.

One gift package includes: a boll-point pen, stickers, a notebook and a Christmas ornament.

This is from the craft sale proceeds, which was held on Dec 8th, 2012 at Japan town in San Francisco.

We hope they will like our presents.

2012年12月8日にサンフランシスコ、ジャパンタウンで行われたクラフトセールの収益金から、高田保育所の児童１００名に、クリスマスプレゼントとして
ステッカー、ボールペン、ノート、クリスマス飾り
をそれぞれセットにし送りました。サンフランシスコのサンタからのプレゼント、子供達が喜んでくれることを願って・・・

Thank you : Craft Sale in Japantown on Dec 8th, 2012 / ありがとうクラフトセール in 日本町 2012年12月8日

Thank you so much for your participation at ABC Niji-no-kai’s Craft Sale at Japantown in front of Kinokuniya book store. We would like to announce that we raised $2,694 to send to Japan on that event. We will send half of the fund to Ashinaga Ikueikai for establishing “Tohoku Rainbow House”. The other half of it will be used for supporting to purchase of an outdoor tent for “Takata Child Care Center”, located in Rikuzentakata city, Iwate prefecture, Japan.

We would like to thank Kinokuniya Bookstore in Japantown for allowing us to use their space outside of their store, their tables and chairs for this event.

Also, thank you for Forest Choir and the Balloon Angels for your wonderful performance at this event.

Thank Mr. Akinari Nagata from Kasai Hair, Hoeft Family and Heery Family for your cash donation. Thank you to all who donated crafted items and those who purchased the items on sale. And we especially want to thank ABC Preschool and Pine Afterschool Families and staff who volunteered on this event.

We appreciate the understanding that people have of our goals to support the children affected by the tsunami and earthquake through this event.

去る12 月8 日（土）日本町紀伊国屋書前で行われました「ABC 虹の会」主催によります東北震災被災児支援のためのクラフトセールでは皆様のご支援のもと、2,694 ドルの支援金を集めることができましたことを報告いたします。半額を東北レインボーハウス設立のための資金として「あしなが育英会」へさらに半額は岩手県陸前高田市立高田保育所の運動会用テント購入のための支援金として使わせていただきます。

このイべントを開催するにあたり、セールのためのスペース、テーブル、いす等の備品を無償でお貸しくださいましたサンフランシスコ日本町紀伊国屋書店様に心より感謝を申し上げます。また、フォレストクワイアー、バルーンアートの皆様には今回も会場を盛り上げていただき心より感謝いたします。

また寄付金をいただきましたカサイヘアーのながたあきなり様、ヘイフトファミリー、ヒーリーファミリーをはじめ、クラフト商品をご寄付いただきました皆様、たくさんの商品をお買い求めいただきました皆様、本当にありがとうございました。

最後になりましたが企画、準備等お手伝いいただきこのセールを成功に導いて下さいましたABC プリスクール、パイン日本語アフタースクールご家族の皆様、スタッフにこの場をお借りし、関係者一同、心より御礼申し上げます。

今後も、より多くの方に「ＡＢＣ虹の会」の趣旨をご理解いただき、引き続き、東北の子どもたちの支援を続けることができますよう、どうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。
