Thank you so much for your participation at
ABC Niji-no-kai’s Bake & Craft Sale
at Pine Methodist Church/ ABC Preschool. We would like to announce that we raised $2,137 to send to Japan on that
event. We will send half of the fund to Ashinaga Ikueikai for establishing
“Tohoku Rainbow House”. The other half of it will
be used for supporting “Takata Child Care Center”, located in Rikuzentakata city,
Iwate prefecture, Japan to purchase school materials. So far we raised a total $30,361.24
including the proceeds from this latest Bake & Craft Sale for these
organizations.
We would like to thank Pine Methodist Church for
allowing us to use their space outside of the church and their tables for this
event.
Also, thank you for Forest Choir for your wonderful performance at this event.
Thank you to Cassava Bakery & Café and the
Hoeft Family for your generous cash/gift cards donation. We are sincerely grateful for
all of you who donated food/ craft items and those who purchased the items on
sale. And we especially want to thank ABC
Preschool and Pine Afterschool Families and staff who volunteered on this
event.
We appreciate the understanding that people
have of our goals to support the children affected by the tsunami and earthquake
through this event.

先日、ABCプリスクール前でおこなわれました「ABC虹の会」主催によります東北震災被災児支援のためのベーク＆クラフトセールでは皆様のご支援のもと、2,137ドルの支援金を集めることができました。これまでの支援総額は今回のセールをふくめ、30,361.24ドルとなりましたことを報告いたします。半額を東北レインボーハウス設立のための資金として「あしなが育英会」へさらに半額は岩手県陸前高田市立高田保育所の教材購入のための支援金として使わせていただきます。
このイべントを開催するにあたり、セールのためのスペース、テーブル等の備品をお貸しくださいましたパイン合同教会に心より感謝を申し上げます。また、フォレストクワイアーの皆様には今回も美しい歌声で会場を盛り上げていただき心より感謝いたします。
またたくさんの寄付金をいただきましたCassava Bakery & Café、ヘイフトファミリーをはじめ、食べ物やクラフト商品をご寄付いただきました皆様、たくさんの商品をお買い求めいただきました皆様、本当にありがとうございました。
最後になりましたが企画、準備等お手伝いいただきこのセールを成功に導いて下さいましたABCプリスクール、パイン日本語アフタースクールご家族の皆様、スタッフにこの場をお借りし、関係者一同、心より御礼申し上げます。
今後も、より多くの方に「ＡＢＣ虹の会」の趣旨をご理解いただき、引き続き、東北の子どもたちの支援を続けることができますよう、どうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。
